Quilters Retreat

Putting the Pieces Together...

 October 6-7, 2017

Do you remember your grandmother or mother piecing together a quilt? Do you wish that you had learned how to quilt?  This retreat is for you! Jeannie Mullins and Charlotte Brooks are going to teach beginning quilting. Both are making table runners. Jeannie's project will use rag quilting, and Charlotte's project will focus on traditional piecing.

The cost of the retreat is $75, which includes meals for Friday evening through Saturday evening, overnight housing (if desired), fun, fellowship and the resources to introduce basic quilting. Some sewing machines will be available, but bring your own if you can.

Tammy Faulkinbury will share the story of her maternal family's quilting heritage across the retreat, Putting the Pieces Together. The retreat begins at 6 p.m. on October 6 and closes at 8 p.m. on October 7, 2017.

Please send us your $30 non-refundable deposit by September 25, 2017. At least 9 people must be registered for us to offer the retreat and no more than 15 people will be registered for the retreat. If we are unable to meet the minimum number of registrants, we will return your deposit.
