GLC Women’s Retreat-South

November 6-8, 2026

We invite you to join us for our Women’s Retreat on Friday, November 6, Saturday, November 7, and Sunday, November 8, 2026. You are welcome to stay at CMMBC for the entire weekend; Friday evening & Saturday; Saturday & Sunday, whichever option works best with your schedule. Dinner on Friday, breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday as well as breakfast on Sunday morning will be available.

The cost of the retreat is as follows:

$50 for the entire weekend which covers overnight lodging on Friday & Saturday night.

$35 for Friday evening and Saturday which includes lodging on Friday night.

$35 for Saturday and Sunday which includes lodging on Saturday night.

$25 for Saturday only

Scholarships are available upon request.

An offering and donations will be collected for a mission project.

Tammie George has had a lot of different roles in her life.  In addition to being a wife and mother, she has spent time as an Event Coordinator for a Christian radio station in Grand Rapids, MI.  She has been a camp Program Director, a Junior High Director for her church, a Worship Leader/Coordinator for her church, a homeschool mom, and most recently a Program Director for a nonprofit organization serving special needs children and families at a school for emotionally impaired/behaviorally challenged kids. 

Currently, her newest role is that of grammie!!!  She has a 2-year-old granddaughter named Eloise and a new born grandson named Rudy. This new role is truly her favorite.

She and her husband Greg recently made a huge pivot in their lives.  They have moved from the city where they were born and raised and where they raised their three children.  They now live between the small town of Florence, Wisconsin and Nashville, TN.  It’s been an exciting and challenging adventure and God is meeting them in these new places and revealing new things and roles for each of them.  They move forward with open hands as to all that God might have for them in this new space and place. 

She looks forward to re-igniting old friendships at CMMBS as well as making some new ones and sharing what God has been doing in her own life and walk with Jesus.  It is Tammie’s prayer that God will meet us in new and fresh ways as we “retreat” from our regular lives.
